A board and a tray of odd-shaped patches that cover it exactly. Turn them, drop them, and fill the board with no gap left over and no patch on top of another. A pinned patch or two starts in place as a clue, and exactly one arrangement works.
The twist: The patches add up to the board exactly, so a single gap at the end means a piece went down wrong several moves ago.

Patch Fit in short
A board and a tray of odd-shaped patches that cover it exactly. Turn them, drop them, and fill the board with no gap left over and no patch on top of another. A pinned patch or two starts in place as a clue, and exactly one arrangement works.
- 1.Pick a patch. Tap a patch in the tray below the board to pick it up.
- 2.Turn it. Turn it with the Turn button or R. On hard boards you may also flip it over with Flip or F.
- 3.Drop it. Tap the board to drop it: the leftmost square of its top row lands where you tap. The ghost shows where it would go, red where it cannot.
